How this table is built
Every row is the same job, so the numbers compare: a 10-second clip at 1080p with sound. Where a model cannot do that job, the row says what it does instead (Veo 3.1 stops at 8 seconds; Kling Standard, Seedance 2.0 Fast and AIGE's Seedance 2.5 stop at 720p).
The vendor column is what the model's maker charges developers on its own API, read from its pricing page on 15 October 2026 and linked in the sources. The AIGE columns are the credits AIGE charges for that setting, in dollars at the price per credit of the cheapest plan that can run it, and on Max, the plan with the cheapest credits.
How to price your own clip
- Pick the model and tier you would actually use from the table.
- Find its price at your length on the model's guide (Kling, Veo 3.1, Seedance): every length is listed in credits.
- Multiply by your plan's price per credit: $0.0285 on Starter, $0.0252 on Pro, $0.0221 on Premier, $0.0200 on Max.
- Budget for retakes: a retake costs the same as the first run, and a shot often needs more than one.
- In the studio the exact cost shows next to Generate before anything runs, and changes as you change model, length, resolution or sound.

AIGE's own numbers come from its live credit table and plan prices, the same ones the studio quotes and charges. Vendor prices change without notice; every row links to the page it came from.
Why AIGE costs more than the vendor's own API
On these jobs AIGE costs 2× to 4× what the vendor charges developers, measured on Max, and more on smaller plans. If you write code, need one model at volume and can run a developer account with each vendor, the vendor's API is cheaper per clip.

On Starter, Kling 3.0 clips run up to 5 seconds. Credits are spent across images and video in any mix, so a plan's credits rarely all go on one kind of clip.

Drafting a shot cheaply
Veo 3.1 Lite at 64 credits is the cheapest 1080p row; Kling 3.0 Standard is the cheapest 10-second one. Find the framing there, then spend on the take you keep.
A 10-second shot with sound
Kling 3.0 Pro at 168 credits: any length from 3 to 15 seconds, sound on or off.

Veo 3.1 makes ambience and effects in the same pass as the picture; Fast costs well under half of Pro for the same 8 seconds.
One long take
Seedance 2.5 runs up to 30 seconds in a single shot, priced per second at 720p.
What it can't do
- Retakes are not in the table: every run costs its full price, so budget for more than one per shot.
- On Starter, clips run up to 5 seconds on Kling and Seedance 2.0 Fast and 4 on Veo 3.1; 8 to 10 second clips on those models need Pro or above, and Veo 3.1 Pro needs Premier.
- 4K costs more than 1080p on every model that offers it (about 1.5 to 4 times), and Seedance reference clips are billed on top.
- Vendor list prices exclude volume discounts, taxes and the work of calling each API yourself.
- Prices on both sides change; the date above is when the vendor rates were read.

How much does it cost to generate an AI video?
In AIGE a 10-second 1080p clip with sound is 168 credits on Kling 3.0 Pro ($4.24 on Pro, $3.36 on Max). The cheapest row in the table is Veo 3.1 Lite at 64 credits; the dearest is Seedance 2.0 Pro at 1080p, 681 credits. Plans start at $8.55 a month.
What does a 10-second AI video cost?
On the vendors' own APIs, $1.68 for Kling 3.0 at 1080p with sound and $3.74 for Seedance 2.0 at 1080p (list prices, 15 October 2026). In AIGE the same jobs are 168 and 681 credits, $3.36 and $13.62 on the Max plan.
Is AIGE cheaper than using Kling, Veo or Seedance directly?
No. Per clip, AIGE costs 2× to 4× the vendor's list API price on Max, and more on smaller plans. You pay for one balance across every model, saved characters, the Canvas and MCP access, and no developer account per vendor.
What is a credit worth in dollars?
It depends on the plan. Starter is $8.55 for 300 credits, $0.0285 each; Max is $230 for 11,500, $0.0200 each. A generation costs the same number of credits on every plan.
Can I make 10-second clips on the Starter plan?
Not on Kling, Veo or Seedance: on Starter they run up to 5 seconds on Kling and Seedance 2.0 Fast and 4 on Veo 3.1. 8 and 10 second clips on those models need Pro ($29 a month) or above, and Veo 3.1 Pro needs Premier.
Can I buy credits without a subscription?
No. Planning your week in AIGE is free, and making images and video draws on a plan's monthly credits. Credit packs are a mid-month top-up for accounts already on a paid plan.
Does the price change once I've started?
No. The credit cost is quoted before the run and that is what is charged. Changing model, length, resolution or sound re-quotes the number before anything runs.
