What is character consistency?
Character consistency is an AI generator's ability to keep the same person recognizable across many separate images and videos, instead of producing a new face with every prompt.
Most text-to-image models start from scratch on every prompt, so the same description returns a different face each time. Consistency has to come from something the model is given, usually reference photos of the person, not from wording the prompt more carefully.
On AIGE, a character is a saved record with a name, an avatar and a gallery of reference photos. Every image or video you generate with that character selected carries its ID and photos to the model, so the face holds while the scene, outfit and pose change. The AIGE Agent can also create a character from an attached photo when you give it a name.
It is a strong anchor, not a lock: extreme angles or heavy stylization can still shift small details. The same character carries into video and the Fitting Room, so you build the identity once and reuse it everywhere.
