Transform Your Portraits into Cinematic Masterpieces

Ever wondered how creators are making high-quality cinematic transitions from a single portrait? It looks like movie magic, but the workflow is simple inside AIGE. This guide shows how to take a clean reference photo and turn it into a polished 9:16 video loop with Seedance Pro.

What You'll Need

  • A high-quality portrait photo with clear facial detail.

  • An AIGE account at aige.ws.

  • A prompt that describes camera movement, lighting, environment, styling, and audio direction.

Step 1: Head to the Studio

Open your browser and go to aige.ws. The Studio is where you upload your portrait, choose the model, and generate the final video.

Step 2: Configure Your Video Settings

Set the core DNA of the video before uploading your image.

  • Video Mode: Click the camera icon to switch from image generation into video generation.

  • Model: Choose Seedance from the model list.

  • Quality: Toggle Pro for the strongest render quality.

  • Aspect Ratio: Choose 9:16 for Reels, TikTok, Shorts, and other vertical platforms.

  • Duration: Pick the clip length that fits your concept, such as 5s or 15s.

Step 3: Upload Your Reference

Click the plus button or Choose Files and upload your portrait. This image becomes the anchor for the AI to preserve the subject's features, clothing, and visual identity while building the cinematic scene around it.

Step 4: Add the Prompt

The difference between a basic clip and a scroll-stopping sequence is prompt detail. Describe the subject, the world, the camera language, the color palette, the timing of each shot, and the audio mood.

Breezy, warm indie folk or soft dream-pop instrumental - think fingerpicked guitar, airy reverb pad, and distant soft percussion. 70-80 BPM. No lyrics in the final 3 seconds so the text reveal breathes.

Pro tip: Keep the subject reference explicit with @image1, then describe each shot by timestamp so the model understands the progression.

Step 5: Generate and Reveal

Hit Generate. AIGE processes the portrait, the model settings, and the prompt to create a cinematic transformation: close-up detail, overhead motion, a wide magical reveal, and a final text moment.

The Result

You get a high-fidelity vertical video that feels like it was shot as a stylized fashion editorial, without a camera crew, location scout, or post-production team. It is built for social: short, cinematic, and easy to loop.

Full Prompt to Copy

A cinematic, multi-shot sequence set in a surreal dreamscape meadow where nature feels painted, saturated, and slightly magical. The main subject is @image1 - messy blonde hair, brown plaid shirt, distinctive thick white-framed sunglasses. The aesthetic pulls from magical-realist fashion editorial: bold color blocks, painterly saturation, unexpected natural elements, everything rendered with soft film grain and warm golden hour light.

Shot 1 (0-3s) - Close-up portrait, shallow DOF
Tight close-up of @image1 standing chest-deep in a sea of tall swaying grass speckled with white daisies and wild clover. Soft diagonal sunlight hits from camera-left, warming one cheek while cool sky-blue fills the shadow side. A small white cabbage butterfly drifts through the frame past her shoulder. She tilts her chin down slightly then slowly looks up, a quiet almost-smile breaking across her face. Behind her, the sky is an unreal deep cerulean with two sculpted cumulus clouds. Shot on Hasselblad H6D with 100mm f/2.2, Kodak Portra 400 grain. Subtle handheld micro-movement.

Shot 2 (3-7s) - Top-down overhead, floral halo
Camera directly overhead, slowly rotating 90 degrees clockwise. @image1 lies on her back in the grass, blonde hair fanned out around her head like a sunburst, arms loosely outstretched. Fresh-cut wildflowers - blush pink cosmos, crimson poppies, white daisies - have been arranged in a loose organic halo around her hair and shoulders by an unseen hand. She's laughing softly, lips moving as she sings or hums to herself, eyes closed behind the white sunglasses. Dappled shadow from an off-frame branch plays across her face. A single petal drifts down into frame.

Shot 3 (7-13s) - Wide tracking shot, magical reveal
Camera tracks behind her at waist height as @image1 runs through waist-high grass, arms trailing, the plaid shirt rippling. She moves across bold painterly color-blocked fields - emerald green transitioning into a wide stripe of crimson poppies, then into a band of golden wheat - the landscape stylized like a painting come to life. A line of white geese glides along a narrow ribbon of still water to her right, mirroring her direction. On the horizon rises a majestic conical snow-capped mountain rendered in vivid cyan-teal, glowing slightly unreal against the cerulean sky, matching the cool tone of the distant water. Scattered cumulus clouds drift slowly. Lens flare catches the sun as she runs. Shot on anamorphic 2.39:1, Kodak Ektar 100 for hyper-saturated painterly color.

Shot 4 (13-15s) - Slow push-in, text reveal
Camera slows, she stops and turns her head halfway back toward the lens - a glimpse of profile, a knowing half-smile. The image softens slightly, grain rising. A stylish serif text overlay elegantly fades in center-frame:
"How your creative process feels when you start using AIGE."
The text lingers for a beat, then gently dissolves.

Global style tokens:
magical realist editorial, painterly saturated color palette, cyan teal mountain, crimson color block fields, emerald green grass, sky cerulean, warm golden hour, Kodak Portra 400 and Ektar 100 grain hybrid, soft handheld micro-motion, shallow depth of field on close-ups, anamorphic wide shots, subtle lens flare, dreamy but grounded, no hard cuts mid-gesture, 9:16 vertical

Audio direction: breezy, warm indie folk or soft dream-pop instrumental - think fingerpicked guitar + airy reverb pad + distant soft percussion. 70-80 BPM. No lyrics in the final 3 seconds so the text reveal breathes.
