At their main tiers, Kling V3 is the cheapest of the three per second, and Veo 3.1 and Seedance cost several times more: in AIGE, Kling V3 Standard is 8.4 credits a second silent, Veo 3.1 with audio is 40.0, and Seedance 2.0 at 720p is 30.4. Each family also has a cheaper tier, and those change the order.
Most price comparisons put three vendors' plans side by side, in three different units. AIGE sells all three models from one credit balance, so this page can price them in the same unit. The numbers below are read from the live price table, not typed by hand.
Kling vs Veo vs Seedance: price per second
Model | Settings | Credits per second | Per second on Starter | Example clip |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Veo 3.1 Lite | 720p | 5.0 | $0.14 | 20 for 4 s |
H3 Max | 768p, audio | 8.0 | $0.23 | 40 for 5 s |
Kling V3 Standard | silent | 8.4 | $0.24 | 42 for 5 s |
Seedance 2.0 Fast | 480p, audio | 10.8 | $0.31 | 54 for 5 s |
Kling V3 Pro | silent | 11.2 | $0.32 | 56 for 5 s |
Kling V3 Standard | audio | 12.6 | $0.36 | 63 for 5 s |
Veo 3.1 Fast | 720p, audio | 15.0 | $0.43 | 60 for 4 s |
Kling V3 Pro | audio | 16.8 | $0.48 | 84 for 5 s |
Seedance 2.0 Fast | 720p, audio | 24.2 | $0.69 | 121 for 5 s |
Seedance 2.0 | 720p, audio | 30.4 | $0.87 | 152 for 5 s |
Veo 3.1 | audio | 40.0 | $1.14 | 160 for 4 s |
Seedance 2.5 | 720p, audio | 46.4 | $1.32 | 232 for 5 s |
Seedance 2.0 | 1080p, audio | 68.2 | $1.94 | 341 for 5 s |
The dollar column uses the Starter plan's own rate: $8.55 a month for 300 credits. Bigger plans buy credits cheaper, so the same clip costs less on them. The video cost page has the per-plan figures.
Video is billed per second and rounded up to a whole credit, so a clip's length moves the price more than anything else. Twice the seconds is twice the credits.
What is Kling AI pricing per second?
Kling V3 has two tiers and an audio switch, which gives four rates:
Kling V3 Standard, silent: 8.4 credits a second (42 for 5 s)
Kling V3 Standard, with audio: 12.6 credits a second (63 for 5 s)
Kling V3 Pro, silent: 11.2 credits a second (56 for 5 s)
Kling V3 Pro, with audio: 16.8 credits a second (84 for 5 s)
Audio on Kling is a separate, dearer rate: turning it on adds half again to the price. Kling renders any whole length from 3 to 15 seconds, so a 15-second Pro clip with audio is 252 credits. If the clip will sit under music or a voiceover you add later, generate it silent.
What does Veo 3.1 cost per second?
Veo 3.1 comes in three tiers, and it renders exactly 4, 6 or 8 seconds:
Veo 3.1 Lite, 720p: 5.0 credits a second (20 for 4 s, 40 for 8 s)
Veo 3.1 Fast, with audio: 15.0 credits a second (60 for 4 s, 120 for 8 s)
Veo 3.1, with audio: 40.0 credits a second (160 for 4 s, 320 for 8 s)
The spread inside Veo is the widest of the three families: the top tier costs 8 times what Lite does for the same four seconds. Draft the shot on Lite or Fast, and pay for the top tier only on the take you publish.
What is Seedance pricing?
Seedance is priced by resolution as well as length, and its audio is included:
Seedance 2.0 Fast, 480p: 10.8 credits a second (54 for 5 s)
Seedance 2.0 Fast, 720p: 24.2 credits a second (121 for 5 s)
Seedance 2.0, 720p: 30.4 credits a second (152 for 5 s)
Seedance 2.0, 1080p: 68.2 credits a second (341 for 5 s)
Seedance 2.5, 720p: 46.4 credits a second (232 for 5 s)
Seedance 2.5 is the one model here that renders a single take of up to 30 seconds, and a take that long is 1387 credits at 720p. Long takes are where a budget disappears, so decide the length before you generate, not after.
Kling vs Veo 3 pricing: which is cheaper?
Like for like, Kling. A second of Kling V3 Pro with audio is 16.8 credits against 40.0 for Veo 3.1 with audio, so the same money buys roughly 2.4 times as many Kling seconds.
The cheaper Veo tiers reverse that. Veo 3.1 Fast with audio (15.0 a second) is slightly under Kling V3 Pro with audio, and Veo 3.1 Lite (5.0 a second) is the lowest rate in the whole table. "Is Kling or Veo cheaper" has no single answer; it depends on which tier of each you mean.
Seedance vs Veo 3 pricing
Seedance 2.0 at 720p (30.4 a second) sits below the top Veo 3.1 tier (40.0), and Seedance 2.0 Fast at 480p (10.8) is in the same range as Kling. Seedance climbs fastest with resolution: 1080p is more than twice the 720p rate.
Which is better, Kling or Veo?
Price only tells you what a second costs, not which seconds are worth it. A working split:
Drafts and b-roll: the cheapest tier that shows you the motion: Veo 3.1 Lite, Kling V3 Standard silent, or H3 Max (8.0 a second with audio).
Character shots and start-to-end-frame moves: Kling V3 Pro.
The published hero clip with sound: Veo 3.1, where prompt adherence matters most.
Long single takes and reference-heavy shots: Seedance.

What the per-second price leaves out
Attempts. You rarely keep the first take. If you expect three tries per shot, multiply the table by three. That is the real price of a finished second.
Failures. In AIGE a generation that fails returns its credits to your balance automatically. A finished clip you dislike is still charged.
The quote. The studio shows the credit cost before anything runs, and changing the model, length, resolution or audio re-quotes it.
