Higgsfield AI is a creative suite for making images and video, with a cinematic video workspace and models from other companies such as Kling, Seedance and Nano Banana. As of October 2026 plans start at $19 a month, and its pricing page says the 270 credits in Starter equal 135 Nano Banana Pro images.
What Higgsfield does
Higgsfield calls itself an "AI-native creative suite" and is based in San Francisco. It works as a set of tools under one subscription, with other companies' models alongside. You pick the tool first, then the model.
Cinema Studio is its flagship video workspace, with camera, lens and colour-grading controls.
Soul is its own image model family, and Soul ID trains a character from photos so the same face shows up across images and videos.
Marketing Studio turns a product link into a social video ad.
Canvas is a board for chaining workflows and sharing them with a team.
Supercomputer is an agent: you describe the project in plain language and it plans and runs the steps.
Lipsync Studio and the audio tools cover talking characters, voiceover and voice cloning, which AIGE does not offer.
Next to its own models it sells access to others. The credit tables on the pricing page include Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, Wan, Nano Banana, Nano Banana Pro, GPT Image and FLUX.2. There is also an MCP connection for Claude, a CLI and an API.
How to use Higgsfield AI
Higgsfield's help center gives a six-step first run.
In the top navigation, choose Image or Video.
Pick a model or feature, or keep the default.
Type a prompt that describes the result.
Upload a reference image if the model accepts one.
Adjust duration, aspect ratio and resolution.
Click Generate.
The result shows up in the section where you made it and in Assets. Generations usually take a few minutes: images are typically faster, and video can take longer at higher resolutions. For a guided start, the Higgsfield Academy lesson "Your First Video" asks for three videos: one from a simple prompt, one made with Supercomputer and one from a preset using your own photo.
What Higgsfield costs, as of October 2026
Higgsfield sells monthly plans, each with a set number of credits. These are list prices from its pricing page on 27 October 2026, before VAT. It runs promotions, so the number at checkout can differ.
Plan | Per month | Billed annually | Credits per month |
|---|---|---|---|
Starter | $19 | $19 a month | 270 |
Plus | $59 | $47 a month | 1,200 |
Ultra | $129 | $99 a month | 3,000, 6,000 or 9,000 |
Teams | from $65 a seat | see the page | from 1,000 a seat |
The comparison table also has a Free column marked "Limited use", with 0 credits. Credits are priced per model. By the plan picker's own numbers, a Nano Banana Pro image is 2 credits and an eight-second Kling 3.0 clip at 720p is about 14, and the page itself says Starter's 270 credits equal 135 Nano Banana Pro generations.
Fine print worth reading before you pay
Model access depends on the plan. Starter lists access to selected models only, with Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini. Plus and Ultra list access to all models and features.
Seven-day windows. Plus lists Nano Banana 2 at 2K and Kling 3.0 as free to run for seven days, and Ultra adds Nano Banana Pro at 2K. The page says these windows work only on higgsfield.ai, not through MCP, the CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer, and that speed can be adjusted in busy periods.
New models roll out in stages. The page says new models and advanced features can arrive on a rolling basis and may not reach every user at launch.
Credit figures are marked approximate. Most per-clip prices in the comparison table carry a "~", so treat them as estimates.
Where AIGE differs
Higgsfield has tools AIGE does not. It makes characters talk and clones voices; AIGE does neither. AIGE is an image and video studio with saved characters that keep one face across stills and clips, a Canvas board with a timeline to cut shots together, and a credit price shown before every run. The same credits work from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor over MCP.
Take the two jobs Higgsfield's plan picker prices above, a Nano Banana Pro image and an eight-second Kling clip. AIGE prices the same models by name: a 1K Nano Banana Pro image costs 15 credits, and an eight-second Kling V3 Pro clip without sound costs 90 credits. Those are bigger numbers than Higgsfield's 2 and about 14, but a credit is not the same unit in both studios and the settings differ, so compare dollars per clip, not credit counts. The AIGE vs Higgsfield page does that maths and says plainly where Higgsfield is cheaper. To see the models on the AIGE side, read the Kling and Seedance pages. For a character who talks or a cloned voice, open Higgsfield; for one face across stills and clips, try AIGE.
Honest note: We read Higgsfield's pricing, help and about pages on 27 October 2026. Credit prices and promotions there change often, so check the pricing page before you pay. AIGE sells a competing product, and its own comparison page finds Higgsfield cheaper per clip on every job it lists.
