AI Video for TikTok: 9:16 Clips From One Prompt

Make a 9:16 AI video for TikTok from one prompt in AIGE: the models that take vertical, the price of a 5-second clip, TikTok's AI label and how to export.

To make an AI video for TikTok in AIGE, write one prompt in the video editor, keep the frame at 9:16, pick a model and a length, and run it. The price shows on the button first. Export a video file and upload it to TikTok, which requires a label on realistic AI video.

Make one 9:16 clip from one prompt

The video editor is on the laptop canvas. Open Make, then Video, to place a Video widget on the board, and open the widget. A new video starts in a tall 9:16 frame, so for TikTok leave the Shape switch in the title bar as it is.

  1. Choose From words. In the editor's Make tab, pick From words and fill in "What happens in the clip". Keep it to one subject, one action and one camera move. The field's own example reads "A slow push-in on steam rising from a cup".

  2. Pick a model and a length. The list starts on Kling V3. Kling V3, Kling 3 Turbo, Kling o3, Seedance, Seedance 2.5, Omni Flash and H3 Max all take 9:16 when you write the shot. A clip runs from 3 to 30 seconds depending on the model, and how long an AI video can be has the table.

  3. Press the button. It prints the price before you run. The new clip holds its slot on the timeline while it is made.

  4. Cut it. Split, trim and reorder the clips on the timeline, then export.

For a longer cut, Storyboard takes one line per shot, up to 8, and makes each line a clip in order. The aspect ratio guide lists the ratios each model takes.

What TikTok asks of an AI video

These are TikTok's own rules and numbers as of 28 October 2026. Its help page on AI-generated content says TikTok requires creators to label all AI-generated content that contains realistic images, audio or video. You can disclose it in the post with text, a hashtag sticker or the description, or turn on the AI-generated content setting. For an uploaded video that setting sits under More options, after Next.

Three more lines from that page matter for a clip made in AIGE. TikTok may apply an AI-generated label automatically, for example to an upload that carries Content Credentials, and an automatic label cannot be removed. AIGE does not write Content Credentials, and the editor's export is a new recording made in your browser, so do not count on TikTok to label your upload: switch the AI-generated content setting on yourself. And some AI content is not allowed even when labeled, including the likeness of young people under 18 and of private adults used without their permission. TikTok also says the setting does not change how a video is distributed, as long as the video follows its Community Guidelines.

The TikTok help pages we read on making and editing a post list no upload length, file size or ratio. These numbers come from its developer documentation, which states them for videos sent through TikTok's API, and from its ad specs:

  • Length. Its developer documentation says every creator can post 3-minute videos and some accounts can post 5 or 10 minutes. One AIGE clip is 30 seconds at most, so a single clip sits well inside that.

  • File. The same page lists MP4 (recommended), WebM and MOV, with H.264 recommended, 23 to 60 frames a second, 360 to 4096 pixels on each side and up to 4 GB.

  • Shape. Those limits name no ratio. TikTok's in-feed ad specs, last updated June 2026, list vertical 9:16 as the recommended shape, at 540 by 960 pixels or more. They are ad specs, not rules for an ordinary post.

AIGE's export fits the file limits: a 9:16 cut records at 30 frames a second, at 720 by 1280 or 1080 by 1920 pixels, as an MP4 (H.264) where your browser can record one. TikTok has its own AI Create tool in its editor, which makes an image or video from a prompt. Its help page says the tool is not available everywhere.

What one vertical clip costs

Here is one worked example, from AIGE's credit table on 28 October 2026. In From words, the model list starts on Kling V3 and the length starts at 5 seconds, in the 9:16 frame. That is Kling V3 at Standard quality with sound on, and it costs 63 credits. The editor has no sound switch, so that is the price there. The button shows it before you run.

Storyboard prices the whole run on its button. Three 5-second shots on Kling V3 at those settings cost 189 credits, for a 15-second cut. The shots start one after another and each is charged as it starts, so an empty balance stops the rest.

Other models cost more or less, and your plan decides which ones it reaches. In the default plan table, H3 Max and Seedance 2.5 are not on Starter; the button says which plan a model needs. For a price table by model, see AI video for YouTube. The AI video cost page lists every model and plan, and the Kling and Seedance pages cover those two in depth.

Getting the clip into TikTok

Export is the route that needs no TikTok connection. Press Export, pick 720p or 1080p and keep the tab open while the cut records. It costs no credits, because it runs in your browser. The same AI video for YouTube guide has the rest of the export details. Then upload the file in TikTok. TikTok's help page says a video uploaded in a web browser goes up whole, so to change its length, upload from the TikTok app.

AIGE can also connect a TikTok account, but only where it has opened TikTok for that account. In Channels, Connect a channel shows a TikTok card. Where TikTok is not open for you, the card says Coming soon and has no Connect button. Once it is connected, the composer asks where a post goes and starts on Post to my profile. The other choice is Send to my TikTok inbox. Until TikTok has reviewed AIGE, a profile post can only be Only me, and your TikTok account itself has to be private. The composer says so and offers the inbox instead. It also says TikTok posts wait for your approval in Posts. Nothing here promises that a post from AIGE goes live. Three more details:

  • AIGE's composer takes one TikTok video on its own, or up to 10 photos. It flags a video that runs longer than TikTok allows that account.

  • AIGE will not post a WebM export. A browser that cannot record MP4 saves WebM, so export from a current Chrome or Safari. The export dialog names the format before you start.

  • The composer's Made with AI label starts on for anything made in AIGE. On a profile post AIGE sends TikTok's AI-generated flag. A video sent to your inbox cannot carry it, so switch the AI-generated content setting on in TikTok's app before you post.

Making it from a phone

On accounts where the phone board is switched on (it is off by default), the Make sheet has a Video tab with Length, Sound and Ratio rows. A fresh sheet starts at 5 seconds, silent, 9:16. Sound is a choice there, while the laptop editor has no sound switch. A clip on the phone is watched, extended or downloaded. The timeline editor is on the laptop canvas, and AIGE on phone vs laptop sets the two side by side.

To see the board without an account that has it, open aige.ws/?try=1 on a phone: that demo plays a prepared example and makes nothing. The AIGE board on your phone walks the screen.

Honest note: TikTok's numbers come from its developer and ad documentation read on 28 October 2026, because its help pages on posting give no upload limits, so check your own upload screen. AIGE's TikTok connection is switched on per account and its own screens say TikTok is still reviewing AIGE, so a post from AIGE may be private, wait for your approval or land in your inbox. This article shows no sample clips: run one yourself and judge it. The price above is from AIGE's credit table, and your plan decides which models and settings it reaches.

Is there an AI video editor for TikTok?

AIGE's editor is on the laptop canvas: a timeline where you split, trim and reorder clips, then export. TikTok's own editor has AI Create, which its help page says is not available everywhere.
