Kling AI is Kuaishou's video model. See the versions from 3.0 to 4.0, how long a clip can be, and what a Kling clip costs in AIGE credits.

Made in AIGE · Carciofo · Studio NNTN · invented brand

Kling AI is a video model from Kuaishou, the Chinese short-video company, that turns a prompt or a still image into a short clip. Its 3.0 generation makes clips up to 15 seconds. In AIGE a 5-second Kling V3 clip at Pro quality costs 84 credits with sound and 56 credits without.

Who makes Kling AI, and which version is newest

Kuaishou Technology unveiled Kling in June 2024 as a text-to-video model. In February 2026 it announced the Kling 3.0 series: Video 3.0, Video 3.0 Omni, Image 3.0 and Image 3.0 Omni, with video clips of up to 15 seconds.

The newest is Kling 4.0. Kling's own blog says it launched on 15 October 2026 with native generation of 3 to 30 seconds, and that Kling 4.0 Flash was set to open to Ultra Yearly subscribers in early access from 28 September. These are vendor dates as of 2026-10-27.

Yes: Kling V3, 3 Turbo, o3 and Motion Control

The "not yet" is about access. AIGE runs Kling through fal.ai, and as of 2026-10-27 fal lists API access to Kling 4.0 as coming soon, so the video menu has no Kling 4.0 entry. The Kling model page keeps a dated table of what is announced and what AIGE runs.

Which Kling versions you can run in AIGE

The video menu has four Kling entries. Three make a clip from words or a picture, and one copies movement.

  • Kling V3 is the default. It can start from one picture and end on another, has a switch for sound (on unless you turn it off) and a 4K switch.

  • Kling 3 Turbo has a Pro or Standard choice, with Pro at 1080p and Standard at 720p. It starts from one picture and has no end frame.

  • Kling o3 shares the 4K switch and can also end on a second picture.

  • Kling Motion Control puts the movement from a reference clip onto a picture of your character. There is no length slider, because your clip sets the length. The ceiling is 10 seconds if the character keeps the picture's orientation and 30 if it follows the clip's.

On V3, 3 Turbo and o3 you can pick any whole second from 3 to 15, and the panel starts at 5. How long can an AI video be sets those limits beside the other models. The steps for starting from a still are in Kling image to video, step by step, and turn a photo into a video with AI gives the generic steps for any model.

What a Kling clip costs in AIGE

AIGE prices every clip in credits and prints the price on the Generate button before you run it. Every extra second adds to the price, and the table shows the 5-second and 15-second ends of that range for each Kling option.

The Generate button shows the price of the settings you have picked. V3 in the table means Pro quality: the studio's V3 settings have a sound switch and a 4K switch but no Standard choice. Kling V3 does have a cheaper Standard tier, 42 credits for 5 seconds silent and 63 credits with sound, but it applies only where a Quality choice is offered or made for you: the video node on a Canvas pipeline, the MCP tools, and the Canvas video editor, whose Make panel has no Quality or sound switch and makes Kling V3 at Standard with sound on, so a 5-second clip there is the 63 credits figure. Making a clip needs a plan; see pricing. The length limits and the longest-clip price for every model are in the length guide, and the per-clip cost table sets Kling against the other video models.

What to check before you rely on Kling

There is no star rating here. AIGE does not score models, and it has not tested Kling 4.0. AIGE's model list does show where Kling stops.

  • One clip on V3, 3 Turbo or o3 tops out at 15 seconds. Kling 4.0's 30 seconds is not on the menu yet.

  • 3 Turbo cannot end on a second picture. V3 and o3 can.

  • 4K costs more. A 5-second V3 clip with the 4K switch is 210 credits, against 56 credits for the same five seconds at Pro, silent, without it.

  • Motion Control is billed by the length of your reference clip in 5-second steps, starting at 84 credits for up to 5 seconds at Pro quality.

The review that counts is your own clip. A 3-second clip on Kling 3 Turbo at Standard quality is priced at 34 credits. Run the same line on two models and keep the one that reads better for your shot. The full set of Kling settings sits on the Kling page.

Honest note: Kling's own release dates come from Kling's blog, fal and press coverage, all read on 2026-10-27, and vendors change those pages. Prices and menus are AIGE's, as AIGE shows them that day.
