Blur can come from a clip made smaller than the size you view or export, a soft start picture, or an editor look such as Dream. Warping may come from complex physical motion, which Kling calls hard to generate, or from source pictures that differ a lot. These are leads, not guarantees: we ran no test clips.
Check what the editor did to the clip
Start with the causes that cost no credits. A clip can look soft because of something done to it after it was made. In the Video editor on the laptop canvas, select the clip and check these.
The Look. The Dream preset adds a slight blur along with a soft pink tint. Open the clip's Look section, set Preset to None or press Reset, and make sure the Blur slider is at 0.
Effects and transitions. A Blur effect or a Blur transition on the timeline softens the frame while it runs.
Frame scale. The Scale slider in the Frame section runs from 20% to 300%. Above 100% it enlarges the clip inside the frame, which can read as softness. Reset puts it back.
Export. Export plays the cut once in your browser and records it, at 30 frames a second and 5 megabits a second for a 720 export or 9 for 1080. There is no bitrate setting. A 1080 export sets the frame size; it does not add detail to a clip that was made smaller. We did not measure what that second encode does to sharpness, or how it treats the 24-frame clips that Seedance and Omni Flash make. AI video for YouTube has the export steps.
If the clip still looks soft in the preview with all of that cleared, the softness came with the clip. The next sections are about that, and they are leads, not tested fixes.
Blur that may come from the resolution a model makes
The editor's Make panel gives you two controls for the model, Model and Length. Quality, resolution and sound are filled in for you, at the settings in the middle column. The right-hand column is what each maker's pages say about resolution, as of 28 October 2026. What is Kling AI and what is Seedance cover the families.
Model | The editor makes it at | What the maker's pages say about resolution |
|---|---|---|
Kling V3 | Standard quality, sound on | fal's page for this endpoint states no resolution. Kling's July 2026 blog says its Professional mode supports 1080p and warns against using Standard clips for professional work. |
Kling 3 Turbo | Standard | fal's page calls it standard, 720p. |
Kling o3 | Standard, sound on | fal's page states no resolution. |
Seedance 2.5 | 720p, sound on | fal's page: 480p is for speed, 720p for balance, 1080p for high quality. ByteDance's docs list 720p as the default. |
Seedance | Fast tier, 720p, sound on | ByteDance's docs list 720p as the default for Seedance 2.0, and only 480p and 720p for its fast and mini versions. |
Omni Flash | 720p | Google's docs: 720p is the default, clips run at 24 frames a second, and 1080p and 4K are upscaled. |
H3 Max | 768P | fal: 480P and 768P are native, and 1080P is a refinement of a 768P source. |
Two things follow. A higher tier is not always more detail: Google labels Omni Flash's 1080p and 4K as upscaled, and fal describes H3 Max's 1080P as a refinement of a 768P source, while Seedance 2.5's page calls 1080p its high-quality setting. And the editor never picks a higher tier for you. We ran no clips at two tiers, so we cannot say how much any of them helps.
Higher tiers are in AIGE's studio settings, the panel on the prompt bar of the Grid view page, which the canvas menu lists as the classic generation studio. The editor has no such panel. We read it in the code and did not test it in the app. Above what the editor makes, it offers Omni Flash at 1080p or 4K, a Pro tier for Kling 3 Turbo, a Pro tier for Seedance with a Resolution row that goes up to 4K, and a 4K switch for Kling V3 and Kling o3. On H3 Max (480P, 768P) and Seedance 2.5 (480p, 720p) an ordinary account is offered only a lower tier than the editor makes. The price rises with the setting.
Model, 5 seconds | What the editor makes | A higher studio setting |
|---|---|---|
Omni Flash | 720p: 50 credits | 1080p: 75 credits |
Kling V3 | Standard, sound on: 63 credits | 4K switch on: 210 credits |
Kling 3 Turbo | Standard: 56 credits | Pro: 70 credits |
Seedance | Fast tier, 720p: 121 credits | Pro tier, 4K: 782 credits |
Plan reach differs. In AIGE's default plan table, which can change, Starter has H3 Max, Seedance 2.5, Seedance Pro, Omni Flash at 1080p and the Kling V3 4K switch off, makes Omni Flash at 360p instead of 720p, and stops Kling V3 at 5 seconds. So a soft Omni Flash clip on Starter may simply be 360p. A note under the button says when your plan changed a setting, and the button names the plan a job needs, so trust it over any table. Pricing lists the plans.
Blur and warping that may start with the pictures
From a picture starts from a still you choose, and the makers ask for a good one. Kling's June 2026 guide for its own tools wants source images of at least 1024 by 1024 pixels, preferably 2K or larger, clear and without compression artifacts, and says not to upscale a small image just to meet a size spec. Google's Omni Flash docs also recommend high-resolution pictures. AIGE's picker takes any image file and states no size limit that we found, so the check is yours. Turn a photo into a video with AI has the steps.
Make the still in the shape you want the clip. On Kling V3, Kling 3 Turbo, Kling o3, Seedance 2.5 and H3 Max the picture sets the clip's shape, and AI animation from one image has the table and the end-picture rule. Kling's July 2026 blog says a wrong aspect ratio brings black bars or poor cropping, and that making the video in the ratio you need prevents resolution loss. In the editor, a clip shaped differently from the timeline is cropped to fill the frame unless you set it to Fit.
If you end on a second picture, keep it close to the first: Kling's November 2025 start-and-end-frame guide says large differences may trigger a shot switch, and its June guide says source pictures that differ too much in angle, light or texture leave the model hard-pressed to build consistent motion.
If a face or a product changes as the clip plays, Kling's September 2026 how-to suggests a clearer picture and naming the features to keep in your words.
Warping that may come from the motion you ask for
The evidence here is thin. Kling's guides name two motion leads: a description far from the picture can bring a camera cut or a transition, and its November 2025 guide, written for an earlier Kling, calls complex physical movement, such as a bouncing ball or a high-altitude throw, challenging to generate. For Seedance (both versions), H3 Max and Omni Flash we found no maker page that lists warping causes, so nothing in this article is a documented cause for those four models. For Omni Flash, Google's docs suggest asking for a single continuous shot to avoid cuts. The wording tips for what to ask a picture to do are in AI animation from one image, and we do not repeat them here.
If words cannot carry the movement, Kling's July blog points to a reference clip rather than more prompt words. In AIGE that is Copy a movement, covered in Kling Motion Control explained; in the default plan table it is off on Starter.
Shot to shot is a separate problem. Kling's July blog calls a character or setting changing between shots the most common technical failure in AI video, and points to Kling's own reference tools. The editor has no control for those. Its nearest route is With references in the Make tab, on Seedance 2.5 and Seedance, which takes pictures, clips and sounds for the clip to use. No maker page we read says that holds a character steady, and we did not test it. A Storyboard run makes each shot as its own clip, one per line, and AI Storyboard in AIGE shows how it works.
Trying again, and what you cannot change
A new take is a new charge. On a clip made in the editor, the AI section has Make another take, which repeats the recipe (model, length, words and pictures) and prints the price on the button. fal's H3 Max page says a random seed is selected when none is given, and we found no seed setting in AIGE's video code, so on H3 Max a new take can differ from the last. fal's Seedance 2.5 page has no seed setting and only reports the seed it used, so we cannot say how much two takes differ there or on the other models, and we did not test it. At the editor's defaults, a 5-second Kling V3 take costs 63 credits (Standard quality, sound on) and a 3-second one costs 38 credits. AI video for YouTube prices four models side by side.
Length is the editor's other dial, and how long an AI video can be lists the limits by model. No maker page we read ties length to warping, so we do not promise that a shorter clip warps less. It only costs less to test.
Advice from other guides often assumes dials the editor does not have. Kling's own guides lean on motion intensity, frame rate and a fixed seed. The editor has none of them, nor a quality or resolution switch, nor a bitrate setting, a camera lock, or a sound switch for Kling V3. Kling V3 requests already carry fal's default negative prompt, "blur, distort, and low quality", and the editor has no box for your own. H3 Max is sent with prompt expansion on balanced, fal's default.
Honest note: we ran no test clips for this guide, so it shows no clip and rates no model, and every cause here is a lead, not a tested result. Each comes from the makers' pages, read on 28 October 2026, and from AIGE's code. Several are Kling's own guides for Kling's own app, dated November 2025 (for an earlier version), June, July and September 2026; Kling's July post gives different top resolutions for its Professional mode in different places, so we use only its 1080p statement. For Seedance (both versions), H3 Max and Omni Flash we found no maker page that lists warping causes, and BytePlus's Seedance prompt guide did not load, so nothing here says what those models do when a clip warps. The studio's settings were read in the code, not tested in the app. The Video editor is on the laptop canvas; the studio's settings are on the Grid view page. Vendors change their pages, and AIGE sells the plans, so weigh that.
Quick answers
Question | Answer |
|---|---|
Why is my AI video blurry? | A clip can look soft because it was made at a modest resolution (the editor uses 720p on Seedance 2.5 and Omni Flash, 768P on H3 Max), because the start picture was soft, or because an editor look such as Dream, a Blur slider or a Scale above 100% was applied. We ran no test clips, so we cannot rank the causes. |
Why does AI video warp or morph? | Kling's guides tie cuts and inconsistent motion to a description far from the picture, start and end pictures that differ too much, and source pictures that differ in angle, light or texture, and they call complex physical movement hard to generate. We found no maker page for Seedance, H3 Max or Omni Flash that lists warping causes. |
Does a higher resolution fix a blurry AI video? | Not necessarily. Seedance 2.5's page calls 1080p the high-quality setting, while Google labels Omni Flash's 1080p and 4K as upscaled. The editor sets the resolution itself. The studio's settings offer a higher tier on Omni Flash, Seedance, Kling 3 Turbo, Kling V3 and Kling o3, but for an ordinary account not on H3 Max or Seedance 2.5. |
Can I sharpen a blurry clip in the editor? | No sharpen control: the Look sliders are Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Warmth, Fade, Vignette and Blur. You can remove a blur or an enlarged scale you added, or make the clip again. |
Will writing no blur in the prompt help? | No page we read says it does. Kling V3 requests already carry the default negative prompt blur, distort and low quality, and the editor has no negative prompt box. We did not test it. |
How much does it cost to try again? | At the editor's defaults, Kling V3 at Standard quality with sound on costs 63 credits for 5 seconds and 38 credits for 3. The price shows on the Make button and on Make another take, and other models cost differently. |
Why is my clip softer on Starter? | In AIGE's default plan table Starter makes Omni Flash at 360p instead of 720p, and a note by the button says so. The live table can differ, so trust the button. |
Will a new take look different from the last one? | On H3 Max it can: fal's page says a random seed is selected when none is given. Seedance 2.5's page has no seed setting and only reports the seed it used, and we found no seed setting in AIGE. We did not test how different two takes are. |
